Clinical Instructor | School of Nursing

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical placement teaching at any hospital as assigned by School
  • Perform clinical guidance at hospital for all clinical posting module based on the programme syllabus
  • Monitor students’ attendance and performance
  • Monitor students’ progress and guide them during their clinical postings
  • Mark students’ reports, presentations, assignments and rate student’s performance in clinical postings
  • Involve in preparation of teaching materials especially for clinical module
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the University from time to time

 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess Diploma in Nursing or a bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid practicing Annual Practice Certificate from the Malaysian Nursing Board.
  • Possession of Post-Basic Certification is and added advantage.
  • Necessary to have at least 5 years of experience in clinical areas.
  • Community experience or post-basic specialty in Obstetrics Nursing and Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing or Gerontology and Medical Surgical Nursing is an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport and able to travel to clinics.
