Nilai University Hosted its First Inter-Faculty Olympiad Sports Day

26 November 2025 - Nilai University kicked off its first-ever Inter-Faculty Olympiad, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of competition and cheer. Students from all six faculties battled for glory in a day that celebrated athleticism and team spirit.

Spearheaded by the Department of Students Affairs, the Olympiad featured five intense games: Futsal, Badminton, Tele-Match, Table Tennis, and Tug of War. Every match counted, with points from each game contributing to the coveted overall championship title.

The Vice-Chancellor officially opened the event, rallying the crowd with a speech on the value of balancing academic achievement with physical activity and camaraderie.

After a day of fierce rallies, strategic plays, and triumphant cheers, the results were in. The Faculty of Aviation Engineering soared to victory, claiming the champion's title. The Faculty of Robotics and Data Science demonstrated impressive skill to secure second place, with the Faculty of Intelligent Healthcare Technologies capturing a well-earned third.

The university community packed the President Hall for the closing ceremony, where the Vice-Chancellor presented the trophies to the proud winners. The attendance of lecturers and staff highlighted a unified celebration of student achievement.

More than just a sports day, the inaugural Inter-Faculty Olympiad strengthened campus bonds and created unforgettable memories, setting a brilliant new tradition for Nilai University.
