It aims to provide you with a solid grounding in the theories, principles and practices in accounting, finance, taxation and auditing. With courses ranging from Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting information system, Taxation and Auditing, this Bachelor’s Degree programme develops the skills required to enhance your analytical and quantitative capabilities – equipping you to pursue a career in the field of Accounting, Finance, Taxation or Auditing.

Professional Certificate

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting & Finance is an accredited program by ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and MFPC

ACCA logo Graduates will be able to obtain the maximum 9 papers exemptions out of 13 papers from Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
CIMA logo Graduates will be able to obtain exemptions for 8 papers from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
ICAEW Graduates will be able to obtain up to 7 credits for prior learning exemptions from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
MFPC Graduates will be able to obtain exemptions of 6 modules from Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).

 

Entry Requirements

STPM

Pass with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two (2) subjects; including credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or

A-Level Pass with a minimum Grade D in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Mathematics at O-level or its equivalent; or
STAM Pass with minimum Grade of Jayyid with credit in Mathematics at SPM Level; or
UEC Pass with at least Grade B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics subject; or
Foundation / Matriculation Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM Level; or
Diploma in Accounting or related field Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM Level 

 

*The requirement to pass Mathematics at the SPM level can be waived when the qualifications contain Mathematics with an equivalent/ higher achievement.

*Malaysian students using English as the medium of instruction in their previous study or at least with Band 2 in MUET or equivalent can be exempted from a pass in English requirement.

*Those without a pass in Mathematics and/ or English at the SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement courses, which should be an SPM equivalent.

*International students with qualifications from educational systems where English language is the main medium of instruction are exempted from this requirement.

International students who do not fulfil the English Language Requirements may join the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University which builds their skills in the language and prepares them for the Linguaskill examination
