Convocation Ceremony
Nilai University (NU) will be holding the year 2023’s Convocation Ceremony as follows:

Convocation Fee
Convocation Fees as per table below, is to be imposed to eligible graduates who wish to attend the Convocation Ceremony.

Fee is inclusive of:
- RM100/- refundable deposit.
Refund will be made upon return of gown, hood & mortar board - Rental of gown and hood.
Mortar board is applicable for Master, Bachelor & Advanced Diploma recipients only.
Diploma recipients will not need a mortar board. - Complimentary tickets for two (2) guests

Confirmation of Attendance
Please register online at NUConvo2023 with proof of payment on or before 17 July 2023.
*Confirmation of your attendance to the convocation is subject to you clearing all outstanding fees due to the university.
Late payment after 17 July 2023 will NOT be accepted
Collection of Gown
i) Collection of gowns are scheduled as follows:

Please adhere strictly to the collection date and time.
NO collection of gowns will be possible on the day of ceremony, 26th August 2023.
ii) Please check your gown carefully for any damage before leaving the collection counter. You are responsible for any damages to the gown thereafter, which will result in your deposit being forfeited
iii) Gowns will only be given with evidence you have completed the Graduate Tracer Study. Please access the study from 15 June 2023 onwards: http://great.mohe.gov.my/
Returning of Gown
Returning of gowns can be on any of the following dates and times.

A surcharge of RM20 per day will be imposed if you return your gown after 1 September 2023. |

Procedure: | Produce your IC or student ID with your gown for verification. Your deposit will be returned to you if there is no damage to the gown. Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. |
Graduation Photographs
There will be official photographers during the ceremony. Photography will be done while graduands are receiving their scrolls on stage. Guests are required to remain seated throughout the ceremony and are not permitted to leave their seats to take photos of graduands to avoid obstructing the view of other guests.
You may also choose to have your portrait taken with your family and guests at the designated photography venue, near SRC office. This is a chargeable option with agreement between the photographers and your good self. Please refer to the leaflet which will be given to you by the photographer on the day.
Collection of Certificates
Graduands can collect their Master / Bachelor / Advanced Diploma/ Diploma certificates upon return of gown. The collection details as below:

NOTE: Certificate will only be given after returning of gown and clearing of all outstanding fees.
SISTEM KAJIAN PENGESANAN GRADUAN (SKPG) (TRACER STUDY)
SKPG is an annual studies conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to identify the employment status after graduate. In addition, this study aims to obtain the views from graduates regarding the study programs, facilities and services of the higher education, institutions respectively.
The students need to log in to SKPG website to do online survey and submit the online survey slip BEFORE collect the gown. The online survey will be open start from 15th June 2023 until end December 2023.
The student who are not attend the convocation ceremony, kindly email your online survey slip at [email protected].
It is COMPULSORY for all graduates to complete the tracer study via MOHE’s website great.mohe.gov.my. Kindly choose SKPG for further action.
