Nilai University is pleased to be part of the celebration of the 60th Malaysian American Commission on Education Exchange (MACEE) Homecoming Gala 2023.
The gala dinner was graced by the presence of Mr. Curtis Johnson, Executive Director of MACEE, Mr. Manu Bhalla, Chargé d'affaires, a.i. U.S Embassy in Malaysia, Professor Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director General Ministry of Higher Education and more influential figures reuniting in a sense of pride. Under the theme of "Homecoming," the evening resonated with the vibrant nostalgia of U.S. universities alumni and Fulbrighters shared their life-transforming academic journeys, shaped by cross-cultural experiences.
The highlight of the night was our very own Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Dr. Azhar Bin Ismail, winning the prestigious U.S. University Alumni Impact Award. His remarkable achievements at Mardi and the Malaysian Cocoa Board have been an empowering source of inspiration for our educational community. Congratulations once again Dato’ Dr. Azhar!
As we celebrated the award and the 60-years partnership between Malaysia and MACEE, we looked forward to an enriching and transformative future together, especially within the Nilai University community.
