Discovering One’s True Potential

Students and parents are given a glimpse of campus life during Discovery Day.

Nilai University recently hosted its biggest and most ambitious Discovery Day event yet with multitude of vendors, sponsors and industry partners doing their bit to highlight what campus life is really like. There was a healthy turnout comprising recent SPM-students and their parents who were keen to find out more about the various academic programmes on offer and many quickly made a beeline for the lecturers manning the Faculty booths. Crowd was further boosted with arrival of several busloads of secondary school students from surrounding areas. These students were keen to take part in the various seminars and workshops organised by Nilai U industry partners such as Chap One, which highlighted personal grooming techniques as well as giving useful pointers on corporate etiquette.

The healthy number of sign-ups indicate that the visitors were impressed by the day’s event and underlines the institution’s standing among parents. Also in attendance were corporate sponsors such as Nando’s and CIMB, the latter helping parents better manage their finances with regards the tuition fees.
