On 15th November 2022, 36 students and 2 teachers from S.M.K Dato Mohd Said, Nilai came to University Nilai campus to participate in a one-day Investment Challenge and Finance Education Game in accordance with Nilai University FinTech Week 2022. The arrival of participants was led with a campus tour with the objective to deliver campus life experience. Later on, the students and teachers were brought to the Meeting of Minds (MOM), to proceed with the main objective event which is the Investment Challenge and Finance Education Games.
One of our lecturers from School of Accounting and Finance, Ms. Mimi Suriaty Binti Abdul Rani, gave an opening speech regarding Fintech on where it will lead us in the next 5 years. This game challenge consists of “Real Life Simulator Game” and “Cash Flow Game” where its objective is to give the students a trade experience where it allows them to understand the strategies for a good investment analysis and at the same time, educate them on how to be a retail investor on their stock investing journey.
Thank you students and teachers from S.M.K Dato Mohd Said, Nilai for participating in this event. We hope that this game challenge will be a good push for the students to venture into the Fintech industry one day.
