Having the right qualifications will get your foot in the door. But making the best impression will make your career go so much further. That was the message for the students in Nilai University College's School of Foundation Studies.
Presenting the talk and doing the demonstration were the experts from Face Art Academy, who gave tips on how best to dress, style hair as well as levels of make up to apply for daily office use. Students were shown how hair and make up can be used to create several effects from making a person look older or even to make a person look friendlier. The former is useful in a corporate setting while the latter can be utilised in customer-service situations.
This is one of the many weekly events on campus designed to give the Total Student Experience. These events and programmes aim to widen the students' horizons as well as prepare them for working life.
