RIBBON PROJECT

The Ribbon Project is an annual event by Nilai University’s School of Nursing mainly to create awareness of the various ribbons colors that represent health issues pertaining one's health at large. Each color represent one cause or issue such as:

This project was held on the 10th & 11th September at Aeon Mall Nilai with activities such as health screening, cervical and breast cancer screening test, free registration for mammogram, HIV/AIDS and organ donation awareness exhibition and blood donation. This initiative helps to instill a sense of social responsibility among Nilai University students, especially the School of Nursing students. And at the same time, the aim is to engage and empower individuals and communities to choose healthy behaviors, make changes that reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases and other morbidities.
