Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhDED)
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education is a research degree designed to develop the research capability and scholarly practice of those who aspire to become researchers in the field of Education. Graduates of this programme can pursue professional development in order to play a greater leadership role in academia or the industry. This programme provides an opportunity for candidates to extend their development beyond scholarly understanding and practice to include the capacity to conduct research within an area of interest in the field of Education. The programme is intended for academic or professional staff (or graduate students) who may be teaching/working in higher education institutions and/or who are engaged in, or moving towards, leadership roles within the higher education or professional sector.
