Formula 1 Team gets inspiration from the Nilai U Dept of Engineering.

The Formula 1 Team of teachers and students from Sek Menengah KGV Seremban visited the Engineering School to get tips on how to get ahead of the competition. The Team will be competing again this year in the “Formula 1 at Schools” competition. The competition requires student to design and build a model F1 car that runs on compressed CO2 gas.
"The team has gone through various levels and they are now progressing to the National Level. They were here for some final queries and to take some photos for their posters and report where they have to highlight their partners and sponsors," said Ravichandra Kunugali Rangappa, Senior Lecturer in the Engineering Department and mentor for the team.
"We support the team by giving them training on the Solidworks Design Software and Ansys Analysis software. It feels good to be able to help them progress in the competition. In addition to this, Nilai University will also organise technical talk sessions to motivate students to consider engineering as a profession," added Ravichandra.
The Engineering Degrees at Nilai University are:-
- Approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency
- Equipped with modern engineering software such as Ansys, Electronics Workbench, MTS, National Instruments and Solidworks.
