Nilai UC staff and students do their bit for House of Joy orphanage
Nilai University College (Nilai UC) student, staff and alumni recently visited orphanage home House of Joy in Puchong, Selangor. Besides bringing along plenty of sundry goods and other essential items, Nilai UC contingent did what they are best equipped to do – help the children with their homework as well as conducting English language classes!
This was a truly enlightening experience especially for students making their first visit. It made them appreciate their fortunate circumstances and realised the opportunity afforded to them via private higher education.
It is hoped that visits such these will instill in Nilai UC students a sense of charity and to never forget the warm smiles that greeted them.
