ADTP students find out more about Wichita State University.
“Wichita State is among the cheapest universities in the US,” proudly claims Fai Tai, Associate Director, Finance and Marketing, Wichita State University. “It is approximately half the cost of a university in New York or a third of that of Los Angeles university.” She was speaking to students in Nilai university’s American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) and was busy expounding the virtues of living on the mind-west of America. “Wichita is about twice the size of Kuala Lumpur but only a third of the population. It is much more languid and easy-going.” Stressing on the quality of education as well as the big issue of cost, Fai Tai also took the time to highlight the various scholarship programmes available, especially to athletes.
Nilai University’s International Office regularly arranges for representatives from American universities to speak to ADTP students to keep them informed of the options available. The ADTP is a popular route for students going abroad as it allows for huge savings and also easy transfer of credits.
